Week 2 | More Than Enough

Feeding of the five thousand and a little boy offers what he has….Jesus gives thanks and God does the rest and provides more than enough: 12 baskets of extra food for the disciples who were hungry and doubting so far away from any Chick-fil-A. Why is this the only miracle recorded by all four gospel writers? Could it be because the application of a little boy’s faith (again remember the insignificance of young people in that culture) in the midst of apparent scarcity in contrast to God’s abundant provision beyond what seemed possible was on full display to all of them? What is the application to us as we seek the Lord’s help to do what would seem impossible? It would be easy (and even understandable) to say we don’t have enough….but He does!
